The Institution, Majlis-e-Ishaat-ul-Haq (Registered) is the legacy of our pious predecessors. It was established under the auspices of the reverend saint to whom much of the creations turn, Arifbillah, Hazrat-e-Aqdas Moulana Shah Hakeem Muhammad Akhtar Sahib (D.B.) in 1394 Hijri coinciding with the year 1974. This institution is untiringly involved in its constant effort to spread and disseminate a purely Islamic social lifestyle.
All praise is due to Almighty Allah through whose grace and bounty this institution presently has under its wing twenty two branches in Karachi and the surrounding areas of Sindh province which are all conducting sterling efforts to impart Deeni education. Apart from this, there are numerous other branches throughout the country engaged in different religious and humanitarian endeavors and through which thousands of students, both male and female are benefiting greatly. This institution conducts all its efforts by depending solely on Almighty Allah.
The nurturing of Jamia Ashraf-ul-Madaris (Karachi), “Majlis-e-Ishaat-ul-Haq” (Registered) was established under the watchful eye of Khanqah Imdadia Ashrafia with regard to both knowledge and action. This institution had as its aim the upholding of the Ahl-e-Sunnat-wal-Jamat as its maslak and spreading and disseminating of the pure and pristine Deen. As such both Khanqah Imdadia Ashrafia as well as Ashraf-ul-Madaris (Karachi) are link in this noble chain where the nurturing of both knowledge and action is undertaken in such a unique manner which in this day and age is rarely seen in other educational institutions. There are two departments primarily working within the institution:
1.Khanqah Imdadia Ashrafia.
2.Jamia Ashraf-ul-Madaris (Karachi).
Under the auspices of Majlis-e-Ishaat-ul-Haq (Registered) the main branch of Jamia Ashraf-ul-Madaris (Karachi) is based at Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Block-12, Karachi. Among its important branches are “Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block-2”, “Masjid-e-Hafsa Model Colony” within whose confines the Dars-e-Nizami is taught, as well as the “Ashrafi Masjid” which is situated on the shores of the ocean at Clifton Karachi (Pakistan).
